The club had appealed the Frenchman’s booking picked up at the weekend in the hope of deactivating an automatic one-game ban for accumulated yellow cards through the season.

Who is Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal target Antoine Griezmann?
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have both been linked to the Real Sociedad winger, who is also rumoured to be on Barcelona’s radar this summer. Given their increasingly similar position in the Premier League financial hierarchy, it will be more and more common for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to go head to head in the transfer market. However it is less likely that the pair will face off with Barcelona regularly, with Spanish giants able to offer more both on and off the pitch than both Spurs and Arsenal.
